Block Printing and Creative Printing

Cloth Printing Workshop using hand carved wooden blocks, sponge and lino cut stamps.

We will be creating pattern and texture on cloth you can later use to make quilt or garments or whereever your imagination flies.

Our theme will focus on motifs from the Australian Bush but the ideas are applicable to any motifs.

Bring your own well washed cloth to use- suggested 3 m and 2 or 3 smaller lengths for test prints. I will have a pile of khadi [hand spun, hand woven cloth] available, too.

The wooden blocks and lino stamps are ready to use, we will cut sponge stamps as part of our prep to print.

I will have stamps available to use, we will cut sponge stamps together, and will supply ink for printing.
