We use and love Coats Anchor No 8.
It does not bleed, it comes on an easy to use ball, it has a slight sheen and does not snag easily.
HINT: cut thread from ball, thread your needle from ball end of the length, tension thread after threading by running between your finger nails, sorts out any little kinks it might have been thinking about 😘
