Description
Khadi = Hand spun + Hand weave Cotton fabric.
Perfect for slow stitch, boro inspiration, patchwork.
Cloth is unbleached and so many subtle shades of white to cream, which comes from the cotton used, the season and how long it laid in the sun to dry on the riverbank after first wash.
Spread out the pieces cover an area of approx. 80 x 75 cm. [32” x30″]

NOTE
Plant Based Dyes
- Plant Dyes will age and fade gracefully.
- Gentle cold wash.
- Dry in shade and air.
- DO NOT use strong chemicals, beach, enzyme wash, soaker.
- Can be composted and returned to Mother Nature when you are finished with it.
- We source of dye stuffs from AMA Herbal. AMA Herbal GOTS are certified colours- ask if you wish to see their certificates
- Plain dye indigo and other colours have an irregular surface- traditionally all over bold block print/ mud resist was used to disguise this. We embrace it as part of the ‘handmade’ feel – you need to consider carefully if it works for you.
