Waste not, Want not Quilts.
A tradition from the past, giving work to women and a new life to cloth leftovers to create heirlooms to take into your future.
All quilts are made of khadi and hand weaves. Some have plain backs, some really follow the idea of using up left overs and have printed backs.
Tops are all hand work, we have a folder of ideas, pack a bag of colours and hand it over to our Stitching Ladies and let them work with it.

We go for a folk art type approach, work by eye, keep it nice with no exact measurements or repeating patterns.

Each quilt is
– same, same idea but individual
– labelled with the name of the maker
– check out our quilt diary page.

If you would like to request a bespoke quilt contact us…. understand it will be similar and will take time, think 3 months. We would love to make one for you.
