Silk Sari Stitched Panels- 1

Two layers of silk sari joined by many, many stitches.

We make garments out of 2 layers of silk saris and lots of hand stitch.

A design- the waterfall jacket had big drapey front panels, which were quite a hit a few years ago… but now people are more into a comfort style not the dramatic statement piece.

So, we altered the last batch of our jackets and have these wonderful offcuts.

First I thought- put them together and make a throw, then I thought little bags for gifts… then reality hit, I would not get around to it.

So, I offer them to you to love and appreciate and make something.
